So, over the years we have added more and more different shapes and style of the Men’s swimwear range. This is for a couple of reasons

Our swimwear collection has gone from being all the longer style over the knee boardshorts to the shorter the better with our swim boxers being one of our top-selling styles. 

So, this year, (2019 for those who are reading historically) we have 6 different styles all of which have two amazing key features which span across the range. The features are the thing that differentiates a good quality piece of swimwear to a pair of the fast-fashion variety.

Quick Dry® technology

All Waxx swimwear is made using the Quick Dry® innovative fabric. The fabric is constructed in such a way that repels the water which in turn dries the fabric quicker than other fabrics.

Heavy Duty Waxed String

Each item of our swimwear uses the heavy-duty string. Depending on the style it can come with a flat or rounded string all of which are finished with a branded rubber stopper. By waxing the string, it means that the water will simply repel of the string meaning that they don’t stay damp for hours. Something so simple yet effective.

The difference between 2-way and 4-way stretch.

So, the 4-way stretch is the best for when you are actually going to use your swim shorts for swimming. The 4-way stretch enables them to move in all 4 directions giving them more flowability and movement. The 2-way stretch really lends themselves to having a slightly stiffer fabric (with the added cotton) which means they can transfer from the beach to bar easily and have a more night-time appeal.

Flat & Elasticated Waists

Depending on the style they will either come with flat, part elasticated or fully elasticated waistbands. Each has their own positives the most obvious one is the fully elasticated will fit you not only at the start of your holiday but also at the end 😜.

The flat waist is great for looking that bit more like shorts rather than swimwear so can transfer easily to fashion. The part elasticated gives a mix of both positives. You can look good whilst eating as much as you want. Winner!!
